An HST-related wish has been granted to private senior care facilities in BC. This week the government announced that private care facilities will be HST exempt, to the relief of the B-C Care Providers Association. But David Hurford, public affairs director for the organisation says there's still a lot of work to do. He says there are still many other challenges in seniors care. Hurford says the Federal Government needs to get more involved in senior's care since the aging Canadian population is a national issue.
